Road Maintenance
Major road repairs and specialized services are contracted out by the department. All other repairs and street cleaning is conducted by department personnel.
Snow Removal
Snow removal on King Street is the responsibility of the Department of Highways.
Snow removal on 7th Street from King to Lyons Street is contacted to the Town of Virden.
Snow removal is conducted by clearing all emergency vehicle routes first followed by major arterial streets with the remaining streets done on a rotating basis.

Parks Maintenance
The Transportation Department personnel are responsible for the maintenance of all parks within the Town limits, under the supervision of the Parks and Recreation Manager
