Parks and Playgrounds

Town of Virden personnel are responsible for the maintenance of all parks within the Town limits, under the supervision of the Operations & Facilities Manager.

Virden Spray Park

Behind Tundra Oil and Gas Place

The new Virden Spray Park is open daily during the summer months from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM. It is located adjacent to the ball diamonds and playground behind Tundra Oil and Gas Place.
Maintenance: 204-908-1210 (M-F until 5:00 PM), 204-851-2870 (weekdays after 5:00 PM and weekends)

Virden Skate Park

5th Avenue South at Lyons Street East

With approximately 6,500 square feet of concrete riding area, the skate park boasts unique features like a half-pipe and pump track. It is a multi-use park suitable for riders of skateboards, BMX bikes, scooters, and inline skates. Riders are asked to wear proper safety equipment and abide by posted notices. As the park is suitable for beginner and experienced riders, we ask that participants respect each other's riding abilities. 

Victoria Park

Victoria Park boasts beautiful landscaping and an outdoor bandshell available for many types of entertainment.

Please note - approval from the Town of Virden is required prior to setup of tents in Town of Virden-owned parks and greenspaces.

This park runs alongside Scallion Creek. This area is known for its beautiful scenery and walking trail. Few trees are located on this lot, allowing areas for picnics and outdoor activities.
